Erik Ask-Upmark: Himlens polska
Himlens polska, meaning Polska Dance of Heaven, is the first harp solo CD ever with Swedish folk music played on Celtic harp. Harp is an old traditinal instrument in Sweden but it was for a long time neglected and forgotten - until now when Erik Asp-Upmark calls for its revival. The playing style of Erik Ask-Upmark is unique and his talent of transforming the rhytmically demanding Swedish folklore to the harp is fascinating, not only to harpists but to listeners all over the world.
